This is a fun activity for simple interest and balance. Students calculate simple interest and balance based on three cars that they choose from a list of 6. The students will then have to look at the data and choose only one car to purchase. They then complete a car loan application based on their chosen car.
This resource comes in a standard size 8.5 x 11 printable PDF as well as an editable Google Slide. This means you can quickly change the numbers as well as cars for differentiated instruction. You can print it out and provide the activity to your students, or allow them to make a copy and fill it in digitally. If the students are using this product digitally, have them double click any of the lines (where they need to fill in information) and they can quickly write remove the line and write in their information. This makes for a great distance learning activity.
